Job Description |
*****Position located in Yuma, AZ*****
Performs and controls financial aspects of the MTSS contract.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsible for preparation of reports relative to contract requirements in detail adequate to ensure compliance with contractual requirements. * Participates as primary contractor working level interface with government counterparts for all budget, contract administration, accounting, and personnel related issues. * Responsible to the Program Manager for overall administration of the MTSS Contract. * Establishes and documents all contract-related policies and procedures reflecting operational responsibilities. * Serves as primary point of contact for internal and external audit agencies. * Contact for resolution of non-routine personnel issues. * Enters A/P in Costpoint which involves voucher creation and system entry. * Reconciles the monthly credit card statements for the MTSS contract. * Prepares the monthly cost reporting. * Processes bi-weekly cost voucher and billing in Costpoint and submit to Government financial system. * Reviews, approves and log new Purchase Requisitions and oversee property management. * Audits weekly payroll reports for labor processing. * Performs other duties as assigned. |
Qualifications |
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience. * 3-5 years' experience in preparing and managing budgets, cost reports, and related contract deliverables * Experience working and managing in a demanding technical environment, managing budgets, planning, responding to changing requirements, and supporting continuous improvement. * Significant experience in recruiting, staffing, training, and maintaining a large workforce * Experience working with Unionized workforce and exempt employees * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Highly developed analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a top priority. * Must share a commitment to maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment while simultaneously optimizing individual performance and contribution. * Advanced skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
* The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment. * Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time. * Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time. * Must be capable of lifting 25 lbs. unassisted. * Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned. * Must be able to work in all outdoor weather conditions. * Must be able to work in maintenance, fabrication, and automotive test course environments. * Must be capable of kneeling, bending and standing while performing assigned duties. * Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilities.
Terms of Employment and Eligibility Requirements
* Must be a U.S. Citizen. * Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions. * Must pass a pre-employment drug screening periodic retest. * Must be able to successfully complete a background screening. * Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.
