For more information on what we are about as a company, check us out by following the link below: http://www.levyrestaurants.com/who-we-are/ MERCHANDISE SUPERVISOR Summary: This position supervises the transactional, operational, and communication responsibilities of specialty merchandise for visiting artists, performers, and shows. This position is primarily event-based; please check out the most current season schedule at www.kcstarlight.com (subject to change). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Primary contact for tour representative regarding show/event merchandise. Supervise shipping, receipt, storage, reconciliation, inventory, and payment for tour merchandise. Recommend staff schedules and hours for inventory receipt, count-in, gross-matching, gross-out, and gross-settling. Administrative functions including creating, managing, and maintaining files, process documentation, post-event updates and payment progress. Strong internal communication with partner department for timely processing of payments (ie, Finance, Operations) Adhere to all internal compliance procedures and acquire timely and current documentation, including but not limited to: W9s, bank letters, settlement information Upload payment and settlement information to appropriate secured drives Point of Sale (POS) operations, including but not limited to: creating merchandise in system, creating menus for POS, software updates and wi-fi connectivity. Staff Supervision: schedule as needed for event prep and operations, monitor labor budget with Director of Operations, train & coach merch hourly staff Payroll: may review reports, submit tips, verify time punches Lead pre-shift, post-shift meetings as needed to communicate, train, and inform Construct standard operating procedures for position and support role functions.
