Provisioner for GPS Distribution Systems

Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Travel Requirements: Minimal

Location: Norfolk, VA

SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Provisioner to provide a wide range of technical services in support of several Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) disciplines, primarily provisioning, during all phases of life-cycle support of PMW-170 navigation GPS distribution systems.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Develop and update APLs and AELs in Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) and Model Based Product Support (MBPS).
• Develop, submit and track Provisioning Contract Control Numbers (PCCN) in ICAPS and MBPS.
• Research NSNs and Part Numbers using various databases for compatibility within systems and other systems.
• Utilize Joint Electronics Type Designation Automated System (JETDAS) to develop and update type designations and nomenclatures.
• Develop ILS Certifications in the NDE ILS application.
• Develop various workfiles in CDMD-OA and/or MBPS.
• Provide logistics support analysis, provisioning data input and maintenance planning support. Document discrepancies and recommend corrections.
• Research and respond to Fleet COSAL Feedback Reports and ACIPs.
• Perform Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) utilizing COMPASS or similar software.
• Experience with Navy and DoD Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) systems, directives, and policies to include experience with the development; installation, testing, operation, and lifecycle support for Navy or DoD systems.
• Develop and update Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs), and Maintenance Requirements Cards (MRCs) using RCM analysis and waivers, preferred.
• Review and answer Technical Feedback Reports (TFBRs), preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Navy logistics-related databases including but not limited to:

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

• Bachelor's degree
• Current Professional Logistics Certification - i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Level 1
• OR have equivalent logistics training (resume to specify all equivalent training)
• OR possess an additional two (2) years working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics
• Eight (8) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support (or 10 years if not DAWIA Level 1 certified) of electronic systems, to include:

• Four (4) years of experience in support of C4ISR systems.
• Demonstrated skills, to include:
  
  
  
  • Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data
  • Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures
  • Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines
  
  
  
  
• Experience may be concurrent.
• MBPS experience is a plus.

  • RCM Backfit and/or Classic Certification
