Overview

The Stockroom Trainer plays a crucial role in equipping both new and existing Demant Operations staff with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles while upholding the company's mission and quality policies


Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Training staff on policies, procedures, systems, and software.
  • Conducting hands-on training in order processing, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Monitoring new hires' progress and readiness for independent work.
  • Communicating procedural updates and assisting with new system implementations.
  • Collaborating with supervisors to identify training needs and improvements.
  • Update training documents and procedures based on findings from continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.
  • Ensuring compliance with 5S Workplace Organization.
  • Scheduling and leading regular training sessions.
  • Preparing operators for audits and maintaining training records.
  • Performing stockroom duties as needed and supporting additional training initiatives.
  • Completing assigned tasks and projects from management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or shipping environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and pick, pack, and ship processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively train and engage staff.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse safety requirements in compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards
