D411 Life Cycle Support (LCS) is seeking a Program Representative to join our team.The Program Representative is responsible for managing procurement and manufacturing of Ship Alteration material kits to support commissioned ships.

This includes cost control, strategic planning & scheduling, and execution of projects for various Navy customers. The position will have the opportunity to work with finance, materials management, and planning to generate shop orders, work orders, purchase requisitions, etc.

The candidate will interface with Groton management of equivalent functions, with off-site project offices and contract representatives, and with various NAVSEA Program Offices.

Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are necessary to be successful in this role.



Qualifications

Required:

    Bachelor's degree or 4 years related experience

Preferred:

  • General knowledge of finance principles, such as budget management or finance reporting
  • Past experience working in Naval Shipyard environment
  • An understanding of submarines and their equipment
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with Project or Administrative Management
  • Multidiscipline planning experience is desired
  • EVMS knowledge that supports Project Management

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to function independently without significant oversight
