Summary
Sidley's Multimedia Division supports the law firm's 22 worldwide offices and clients to elevate the Sidley brand by delivering services that include: promotional videos, portrait and event photography, digital asset management, video and photo studio management, and Campus training programs. These services are supported by 12 multimedia platforms and 30 applications. The Senior Multimedia Applications Specialist is responsible for: key stakeholder management with senior legal and professional staff to align technology requirements, digital architecture, and supporting the department's Macintosh computer ecosystem within a Windows environment. Other responsibilities include overseeing all technical operations of the Multimedia Division, engaging with IT support colleagues to ensure Multimedia Mac operations, and develop technology strategies relating to multimedia production.
Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and manage key stakeholders for all platforms and applications to understand their business requirements and identify when a Multimedia solution is needed.
- Develop validation protocols that ensure the stakeholder's business needs are met.
- Establish a roadmap strategy for all applications and platforms within the Multimedia Division, and be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of these projects.
- Key contributor to the design, analysis, development, implementation, enhancement and maintenance of the firm's Mac based Multimedia production tools including: Mac computers, Mac software, video servers, and video/photo production equipment.
- Manage the relationships with other technology teams to establish and maintain appropriate Mac test environments and define Mac application testing plans to identify which team is responsible for each level of testing.
- Develop the configuration processes for server and storage environments associated with software as well as identifying web server requirements.
- Develop and perform daily/monthly system maintenance activities on Mac computers utilizing JAMF device management.
- Maintain a high level of awareness of new technologies and technology trends with assigned applications and areas of discipline.
- Provide After Hours On Call Support. Work as needed during the monthly maintenance window.
- Experience with project management best practices and engaging with a PMO.
- Experience with security and compliance colleagues to meet business requirements
- Software support functions include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting of applications that are standard within the Multimedia Production environment, installation and configuration of software, updates and preventative maintenance, support of third party applications in coordination with vendors, and all associated hardware.
- Help manage the assets that are both deployed and in inventory, maintain accurate Asset records for each user and each piece of equipment.
- Help manage the equipment and software related to all of our video studios.
- May be required to perform other duties or special projects as required.
Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate. Target Salary Range
$117,000 - $130,000 if located in Illinois
Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum five years' experience in a strategic, customer or stakeholder facing role owning enterprise applications, working with stakeholders to identify and meet business requirements.
- Experience in a multimedia or studio environment, within a broader enterprise operation
- Experience owning multimedia software platforms and applications, including studio, video, audio, photo, among others (specific platforms and applications listed below)
- Previous experience in software evaluation, integration, testing and distribution.
- Previous experience breaking down business processes into technology requirements.
- A minimum of five years' experience coordinating support for Macs and studio solutions with colleagues in an enterprise environment.
Preferred:
- Law Firm or Professional Services experience
- Knowledge of software platforms (i.e. Vbrick REV, Editshare, Bynder, CueScript, Haivision, NewTek TriCaster, etc.)
- Manage software applications (i.e. CaptureOne, Riverside fm, Adobe Suite, AppSpace, Crestron, and 30 other applications)
- Knowledge of and interest in video and photo production
- Proficient in M365 solutions
