Job Overview
:

Responsibilities
:


  • Coordinate and collaborate with leadership and execute assigned projects.

  • Coordinate with external and internal resources as needed.

  • Create / improve product design data as required (3D models, 2D drawings, Bills of Material, etc.)

  • Verifies designs through calculation / analysis / computer aided modeling methods

  • Develops test plans, and directs or executes testing activities (as needed)

  • Responsible for multiple projects with varying scope and/or complexity

  • Responsible for reporting and measuring progress on assigned projects.




Requirements
:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of practical experience.

  • Demonstrated expertise applying research to the planning, design, development and testing of mechanical and/or electro-mechanical systems.

  • Proficiency in 3D Modeling and drafting (such as Inventor, AutoCAD, and/or SolidWorks).

  • Excellent visualization & conceptualization skills.

  • Proven ability in developing relevant experiment designs, analyzing data, forming appropriate conclusions, and creating appropriate models needed for system simulation.

  • Intermediate to advanced software programming experience (Python, or similar).




Core Competencie
s:


  • Thorough understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer analysis.

  • Previous experience in Industrial / Commercial Product Manufacturing
    as an engineer developing, releasing, and improving products.


  • Proven in working independently, or as a member of a team.

  • Clear Communications. Verbally can create "clear pictures" for others. Unambiguous and decisive written communications (specifications, plans, presentations, etc.)

  • Solid organization skills and tracking status of multiple projects. Prioritization is key.




Preferences
:


  • Experience with pressure vessels, compressors, pumps, or valve design.

  • Autodesk Inventor experience.




Travel and Work Arrangements
:


  • Fully site based in Burbank, CA

  • Travel: 5 to 20% domestic and/or international.




Pay Range

The pay range for this role is $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 base salary. This position is LIP (Local Incentive Plan) eligible up to 4%. The pay range considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. The Hired applicant will be eligible to receive (discretionary/nondiscretionary) annual bonuses and incentive compensation. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
