Job Summary:
The Clinical Team Supervisor will function on the Management Team of an oncology clinical research program within the Clinical Research Central Office (CRCO) at the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC). Under the direction of the Clinical Team Manager, the incumbent will directly supervise, mentor and train Clinical Research Coordinators and/or Data Coordinators, ensuring that all research activity adheres to applicable International, Federal, State, and Institutional laws, policies, procedures and requirements. The Supervisor will serve as a Clinical Research Coordinator, managing a large patient load in addition to their supervisory duties. The incumbent must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work independently using initiative and good judgment, serving as a leader on the team. Responsibilities: Makes methodological recommendations for multiple clinical trials simultaneously or clinical trials with unique complexity, performs research activities, and compiles and analyzes the quarterly review of all Principal Investigator accounts to aid in the performance of the clinical trials research process. Supervises staff and functions under the Principal Investigator's medical license and cannot perform any tasks that by state or local law require a medical license to perform.
