Overview

As a Services Solutions Consultant, you will focus on supporting the growth of all services sales in assigned regions, with a priority focus on annuity services sales. You will work with the presales engineering (PSE) organization and collaborate with the business development executives to drive awareness, training, pipeline development and bookings in ePlus service offerings.

YOUR IMPACT

The essential functions of this position include:

  • Work with an assigned Business Development Executive (BDE) as the technical lead in qualifying service opportunities, with a focus on annuity services
  • Provide technical expertise/credibility to account team and customers
  • Conduct customer and internal facing presentations on ePlus' portfolio of solutions for assigned regions and opportunities
  • Assist account managers and BDEs with overall account planning as it relates to technical aspects of services opportunity development
  • Complete services sections for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses for assigned accounts
  • Assist account teams and local PSEs with collecting customer business and technical requirements and determining the best ePlus recommended solution
  • Work with Service Directors, Managed Services team, PSEs, and On Demand team to price out engagements
  • Develop solution proposal and/or presentation with PSEs of recommended solution for customer
  • Assist with technical scoping/review for Statement of Work (SOW) for assigned accounts
  • Function as liaison to end-user customer technical staff regarding solution and implementation specifics
  • Function as a liaison between the sales team, presales team and professional services organization to vet solution recommendations
  • Function as technical liaison and ePlus ambassador with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) sales and technical teams as appropriate
  • Assist Services Director with sales cycle escalations and improvements as it relates to annuity services opportunities
  • Work with BDEs to help drive annuity services bookings and attainment of region's annual bookings targets
  • Work with BDEs and Customer Success Managers (CSM) to help drive upsell opportunities within region's existing customers and annuity contracts
  • Work with CSMs to help retain region's current customer annuity contracts and the associated monthly recurring revenue
  • Work with Services Directors to help drive region's professional and annuity services and attainment of professional services invoicing targets and annuity services revenue recognition targets
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Certified in applicable technology field
  • Five or more years of experience in providing technical engineering support for delivery or sales
  • Practical knowledge (i.e., delivery, presales, project management, or sales) in one or more of the following areas:
    • Data Center
    • Security
    • Network
    • Collaboration (Voice / Audio Visual)
    • Emerging Tech (i.e., Artificial Intelligence)
    • Cloud-based technologies and solutions
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills required
  • Attention to detail
POSITION SPECIFICS

The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $110,000 and $140,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
