The Opportunity:

The project manager leads complex projects that have been assigned high corporate priority. Leads negotiations with internal or external clients, assisting clients in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities. Manages vendor relationships including conducting planning session with vendors and service providers to define project scope and performance expectations. Provides subject matter expertise in areas including project management, setup of local project offices, project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on professional knowledge and background. Makes presentations to management on project updates, project cycle, and expected results. Ensures projects are completed on time and in scope.

What we're looking for

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering required. Master's degree preferred. Must be familiar with project control frameworks.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years applicable experience in project management. Formal training in project management tools, techniques and best practices is desired. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required.

Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Projects), SAP experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly organized and initiative-taking individual who can work independently with little supervision.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • PMI Certification (PMP) highly desired.
  • Must be able to manage people, finances, business relationships encompassing a prominent level of detail.

  • Identifies and resolves conflicts proactively escalate to management appropriately.
  • Tracks and resolves open issues.
  • Provides regular and proactive communication to stakeholders, team members and IS management.
  • Project Control.
  • Manages scope aggressively.
  • Manages change control.
  • Tracks resource usage and financial spend and make required adjustments.
  • Understands and follows project accounting rules, especial capital, and expense.
  • Reviews and updates risk, quality, communications plans.
  • Conducts regular project team and stakeholder meetings.
  • Project Close communication & updates
  • Conducts administrative and financial closeouts.
  • Conducts Lessons Learned and update PMO risk list.
  • Support financial forecasting
  • Leader of asset management documentation
  • Timely maintains and updates project information in the Project and Portfolio Management System.
  • Follows project management best practices as identified both in the PMI PMBOK Guide.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$102,200.00 - $170,300.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
