We're here to better our world with biology. Join us as our newest Utilities & Environmental Operator! In this role you'll make an impact by:
Observing equipment and process performance and investigate and troubleshoot abnormal performance. Escalating as needed to support staff Preparing and assuring materials are available for use in the utility equipment and activities Operating and monitoring all utility and environmental equipment systems according to SOPSs and sample testing plans. Operating the plant process control computers to control equipment and processes according to standard operation procedures. Taking utility and waste stream samples. Analyzing samples in the production laboratory and take action based on the obtained results Completing documentation as required (hard copy and electronic) recognizing and understanding production schedule to ensure capacity needs are met. Preparing maintenance notifications and LOTO as needed and assist maintenance personnel as required to ensure timely repairs or inspection of equipment. Completing facility cleaning and GMPS was outlined in the areas master cleaning schedule. Participating in continuous improvement activities and daily meetings.
Potentially relevant experience:
High school diploma or equivalent with demonstrated good math/arithmetic skills effective written and oral communication skills necessary Possess good information technology skills on a user level be able to acquire permits to use motorized forklift, scissor lift, air boom lift, etc. Operators driving off-site are required to maintain a valid driver's license and adhere to license restrictions.
