We are currently seeking a Application Services Solution Architect - Client Site Only to join our team in Houston, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Description: Application Services Solution Architect

An Application Services Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing application solutions that align with business needs, leveraging modern technologies such as cloud computing, microservices, DevOps, and automation. This role involves collaborating with clients, sales teams, and technical experts to create scalable, secure, and efficient application architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture & Design
• Design end-to-end application architectures, including cloud-based, on-premises, and hybrid solutions.
• Define technical roadmaps for application modernization, migration, and transformation.
• Ensure architecture aligns with business goals, scalability, performance, and security requirements.
• Provide guidance on best practices for software development, integration, and DevOps.

Technical Leadership & Consulting

• Act as a technical advisor for customers, understanding business challenges and translating them into technology solutions.
• Lead discovery sessions, technical workshops, and design reviews with clients and internal teams.
• Define and document architectural standards, frameworks, and best practices.

Collaboration & Implementation Support

• Work closely with application development teams, DevOps engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless implementation.
• Partner with sales teams to support pre-sales activities, including RFP responses, proof of concepts (PoCs), and solution demonstrations.
• Engage with third-party vendors, cloud providers, and technology partners to integrate solutions.

Technology & Innovation

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends in application development and cloud computing.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and methodologies for improving application performance and efficiency.
• Advocate for automation, AI/ML integration, and agile development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a solution architect, application architect, or similar role in IT services.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern application architectures (microservices, containers, APIs).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, .NET, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance in application design.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Certifications in cloud architecture (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
• Require 12-15 years of relevant experience
