Description
The Core Operations Associate II is adept at utilizing a variety of core systems to perform routine daily tasks including quality assurance reviews, statement validation, incentive reviews and document archival and destruction.This position facilitates with communicating review exceptions, review notifications and archiving solutions for all internal partners including the primary areas of Retail, Payment Services, Mortgage, Regulatory Deposit Services & Reporting, BSA and Consumer Lending. The ideal candidate has a "can-do" attitude, brings a sense of ownership, commitment, and service to the role.
Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:
Job Duties:
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly quality assurance (QA) including but not limited to membership and business accounts, IRA's, required minimum distributions (RMD), share certificates, deceased, garnishments, rate exceptions, truth in savings act (TISA), minor accounts and closed accounts
- Navigate and utilize a variety of complex core technology systems simultaneously such as DNA, PEGA, Highbond, iDentifi, Xactly, Microsoft 365, Adobe, Network Folders, Tableau, Everview and MIPS to compare information and validate data while maintaining departmental SLAs
- Identify process improvements related to production workflows and contribute to developing and revising procedure content to meet standards for compliance and best practices
- Manage record requests (e.g., check and statement copies, legal signature cards and lending contracts) including tracking, fulfilling and assessing respective fees as needed for record requests on the behalf of internal partners and credit union members
- Support leadership in performing, scripted user acceptance testing for core system upgrades as assigned to ensure effective upgrades
- Perform all job duties in a hybrid work environment while effectively utilizing virtual communication methods
- Effectively and consistently review, prepare, scan and index a wide range of physical documents received from multiple departments and converting these paper documents into digital documents
- Accurately communicate quality assurance review exceptions, notifications and archiving solutions with core business partners ensuring policies and procedures are accurately followed.
- Perform regular internal department audits and peer reviews ensuring the work produced is complete and accurate.
- Organize, validate and inventory critical original physical documents and prepare them for offsite secure storage as required
- Service incoming department phone calls, monitor and evaluate multiple shared email inboxes in a timely and professional manner
Essential Skills:
- Two years of experience in the financial industry or back-office operations preferred
- Two years of experienceusing any quality management, audit, CRM, core banking, reporting or other member record system
- Ability to engage with internal partners, leveraging a customer service model
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Able to be accurate with attention to detail, quickly identifying patterns and exceptions
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and written with a variety of professional audiences
- Ability to take instruction, give and receive constructive feedback
- Proven ability to manage private and confidential information including Personal Financial information (PFI)
- Basic understanding of BSA, CIP, Anti Money Laundering, and standard banking regulations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
- Efficient, well-organized, able to effectively prioritize a variety of duties while working independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work independently and make decisions while adhering to policies and procedures
- Ability to learn and navigate multiple computer systems and or technologies
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma with some post-secondary education preferred
- Certifications/Licenses:
- Credit Union Data Literacy training and certification completed within 90 days of hire.

Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR:
$22.00 to 24.00 hourly + annual bonus
