Title: QC Manager

Location: Onsite in Brooklyn Park, MN

Salary: 100,000 - 125,000

This is a leadership role responsible for executing quality control activities at the fabrication shop for microelectronics capital projects. The QC Manager position needs experienced professional expertise to secure expected quality of our product as well as being a forward-thinking as a microelectronics QC member. Ensuring a high-quality product matched with customer's requirements is produced the first time with little rework or delays will be top priority.



Responsibilities

    Overall responsibility for quality control of all microelectronics products.
  • Create and maintain detailed Quality control plans, processes, and procedures for engineering, sub-contractor etc. to use and abide by.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive inspection test plans to match quality requirements.
  • Oversee and control all inspections and tests conducted for the project builds.
  • Overall responsibility for creating and maintaining an accurate inspections schedule
  • Manage Non-Conformance Reports in a timely manner.
  • Manage corrective and preventive actions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the members and inspectors health and safety.
  • Process and efficiency improvements
  • Ensure correctness of all build documentation prior to build time
  • Collaborate with project team members, suppliers, and contractors proactively to ensure quality of work and products.
  • Execute personnel reviews, manage personnel schedules.
  • Hiring, training and supervision of new employees.
  • Approve contractor's documents, when required.


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience with the QC practices, and procedures for skids and steel vessels of water treatment equipment on capital projects.
  • B.S. degree in engineering or similar field
  • 7 years' experience with ISO9001 requirements
  • Internal Auditing
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Corrective Action and Preventative Action
  • Experienced QC roles with general contractors and/or engineering firm.
  • 7 years of welding quality control experience
  • Demonstrated successful leadership of a microelectronics QC team.
  • Proven forward-thinking task management, process management and identification abilities.
  • Proven ability to provide accurate and timely reporting to Leadership.
