Job Highlights

The Deputy Site Director leads all onsite Production Operations and ensures alignment with company methodologies and operational goals. This role reports to the Site Director and serves as their primary backup.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Safety & Compliance: Lead Operations Departments to meet safety and environmental targets (legal, PTSE, and site-specific). Ensure procedures are current, operational parameters are followed, and tools/methods support compliance. Participate in PSM, PHA, DHA, Xact, and agency audits as needed.

  • Production Management: Oversee Operations to achieve S&OP production targets. Maintain deep knowledge of all production processes, including capabilities and limitations, to ensure efficient, high-quality output.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive efficiency, capacity, and reliability improvements. Support capital projects and lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Manage projects that improve compliance, cost, and site profitability.

  • Cost Control: Improve BOMs, material management, and inventory processes to reduce material variances. Monitor costs, ensure budget adherence, and communicate variances.

This role requires strong leadership, production expertise, and a focus on operational excellence.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, chemistry or related field.
  • Prior experience in engineering and/or manufacturing operations leadership is a must.
  • Advanced engineering and chemical manufacturing plant experience.
  • Demonstrated personnel and process change management skills.
  • Materials management, PSM and safety topics knowledge, project and process improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Compensation: We offer competitive compensation packages, inclusive of a global bonus program and an individual performance bonus program.In accordance with Washington state requirements, the minimum pay for this position is $153,500 per year. Actual compensation will be based on the candidates qualifications and experience.
