Your responsibilities
Job Summary budgeting/Vice President of IT Transformation and ERP Business Solutions will lead IT initiatives and drive the future of our business applications. This role is pivotal in determining the future of our ERP systems, including a potential replacement of the current system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and/or distribution, with over 10 years of experience in leadership.
The ERP Executive Leader will take ownership of the organization's ERP system, providing strategic direction, leadership, and management. They will ensure the ERP system is implemented, maintained, and continuously improved to meet the company's business needs. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Planning:

  • Develop and implement a strategic ERP vision aligned with the company's goals.
  • Lead the ERP system roadmap and ensure it supports business objectives such as scalability, automation, and process optimization.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align ERP strategies with overall organizational goals.

ERP System Management & Optimization:

  • Ensure smooth and efficient ERP operations across all departments (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Sales).
  • Continuously evaluate the ERP system's performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the ERP system's capabilities, functionalities, and modules to maximize its potential.

Implementation & Project Management:

  • Lead the selection, implementation, and upgrade of ERP systems.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful ERP deployments or upgrades.
  • Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and external consultants during system configuration and implementation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Act as the key liaison between various business departments to ensure the ERP system meets their operational needs.
  • Collaborate with Corporate IT team to set up business-driving applications structure.
  • Collaborate with department heads to gather business requirements, prioritize system improvements, and design tailored solutions.
  • Support teams to facilitate user training and ensure adoption across the organization.

Change Management & Support:

  • Lead change management efforts related to ERP system updates and new implementations.
  • Provide support to address ERP-related issues, escalations, and system improvements.
  • Support teams to train and develop ERP users to ensure proficient system usage.

Data & Reporting Management:

  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across the ERP system.
  • Develop and implement reporting standards to provide actionable insights into key business metrics.
  • Create dashboards and reports for leadership to monitor business performance.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with ERP vendors, consultants, and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and support terms.
  • Manage ERP-related budgets and cost control.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in managing ERP systems, with at least 10 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Sales Force, JobBoss, Blue Yonder, pricing tools etc).
  • Experience with ERP implementation, upgrades, and integration across various business functions.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of business processes in areas such as finance, HR, supply chain, and manufacturing.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation in ERP functionality.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SAP and other business applications.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and pricing tools.
  • Positive demeanor and strong business process focus.
  • Experience in cloud-based ERP solutions.
  • Familiarity with emerging trends such as AI and automation within ERP systems.
