Dean|Fluor is looking for a Custodial Supervisor


Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate a team utilizing systems to promote performance, establish clear expectations, promote staff growth and development, provide constructive feedback, recognize success, correct undesirable work performance, focus on employee success, and develop a cohesive team.
  • Monitor employee work hours to ensure accurate recording of hours worked, manage overtime, and approve time sheets.
  • Organize workflow and prioritize the work of staff for maximum efficiency.
  • Conduct facility inspections to determine safety and custodial needs.
  • Provide for and participate in the cleaning of all assigned facilities.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies and tools needed to maintain facilities.
  • Be familiar with and follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Follow universal precautions and all work safety practice controls established by OSHA.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED coupled with ten (10) or more years experience in custodial work with supervisory experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Must have basic computer skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
  • Must have organizational skills.

Abilities:

  • Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
  • Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
  • Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
  • Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
  • Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
  • Identify and understand the speech of another person.
