Engineer

HEICO Component Repair Group is currently seeking an experienced Engineer to work in its Accessories repair shop.

In this position, the Engineer will be responsible for performing highly specialized job duties to include development of repairs for Servo Valves.

Skills/Education & Experience:

Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Engineering and have previous experience designing and developing Servo Valves.Previous experience with Servo Valves in aircraft applications is a plus.

• Able to develop detailed repairs for torque motors, resolvers and stepper motors
• Able to prepare and analyze data and proficient with test & inspection equipment related to these components
• Strong technical writing skills and ability to prepare substantiation packages for review & approval
• Coordinate fabrication of components with suppliers & suppliers' engineering staff
• Assist quality control in quality planning for fabricated parts
• Proficient with metrology equipment and GD&T drawing specifications
• Highly organized and able to prioritize rapidly changing assignments
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities and complete projects on time
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills. Work closely with shop technicians during repair development and provide specialized training as required
• Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, & Outlook
• Proficiency in CAD programs such as AutoCad, Inventor, SolidWorks, etc. is a plus
