Position Highlights |
The James C. Wyant College of Optical Sciences is seeking candidates to fill a postdoctoral research position in computational imaging. Duties include design, construction and testing of array camera imagers, wavefront sensors and novel optical sensors. Python coding for neural image processing and system simulation is required. Additional duties include collaboration with technical proposal development, research program development and technical paper and report writing. Duties & Responsibilities |
- Array camera system design, data collection and image data processing.
- Display wall development and image processing for high resolution display walls.
- Computational imaging system simulation and design.
- Proposal, report and research paper writing.
- Collaboration with technical proposal development, research program development and technical paper and report writing.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated capacity for research in optical system analysis and design.
- Basic computer programing skills in python or matlab.
- Demonstrated experience with artificial neural network design.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Ph. D. in engineering or physics.
- Demonstrated experience in optical system design and analysis.
