THE JOB:

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Coordinator to join our Banquets team at ARIA. This full-time role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic, ever-changing environment, handling detailed banquet event orders (BEOs) and ensuring meticulous execution of banquet operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background with knowledge of food and banquet operations, and an eagerness to learn and manage CAD-related tasks to comply with fire safety regulations.

THE STARTING RATE:$22.25

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Manage and update BEOs with precision, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected.

  • Create and manage buffet signage from BEOs, requiring a good understanding of various food items and dietary requirements.

  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to verify and update ingredients and menu items as needed.

  • Liaise with the Fire Marshall through CAD software to ensure room layouts meet fire code and safety standards.

  • Undertake administrative tasks efficiently, with a strong emphasis on detail and accuracy in document management.

  • Engage with and learn from various technological and operational systems including Excel, Word, Coupa, Outlook, and Oracle.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

  • 1 year of prior relevant experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.

  • 6 months of prior experience working in food and beverage operations.

  • Ability to read, understand, and make edits to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).

  • Computer experience using programs like Excel, Word, Coupa, and Oracle.
