DevSecOps Engineer

Mascoma Bank is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our growing IT team. This person will work closely with the software development team, applying their expertise in software build and test automation, software delivery pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and software monitoring. This role is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the platform, underpinning the secure and efficient development, deployment, and execution of custom software in the organization. This person will also assist in the design and review of iterative improvements to the platform. The DevSecOps Engineer will take direction from the Principal DevSecOps Engineer.

Requirements for this position include 7+ years of experience with automating software builds, testing, and deployment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and working knowledge of software development concepts are a must. Experience with software monitoring and alerting, particularly using Prometheus, would be a plus. The ability to communicate effectively with other team members and collaborate with other teams is essential to the success of this role. This position requires a commitment to quality and attention to detail. Confidentiality and privacy of customer information is a must!

This position can be performed remotely within VT or NH, but there will be occasional travel required for on-site meetings.
