Overview

The specialty operator is responsible for operating production equipmentin accordance to the standard operating procedure.

Summary of Position



  • Startup Specialty equipment according to standard operating procedures.
  • Interpret operation of the Specialty area on the computer.
  • Maintains work station as to cleanliness and order
  • Samples products, perform physicochemical analyses and records information of finish product and notifies foreman of out of spec material.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities



  • Performs work in a manner that complies with all safety practices and sanitation standards
  • Performs other duties as directed by the foreman
  • Operates all equipment in a manner to maintain a high flow rate and high quality Production, in a safe manner
  • Able to perform work procedures SSO 1 thru SSO30 as described in the work procedure index
  • Pack finished product into various packing types and sizes as well as palletizing
  • Warehousing of finished product into racks after shrink wrapping



Qualifications



  • Type of training or experience required, and at a minimum time to gain it
  • Be able and willing to work a rotating schedule of 8 or 12 hours
  • Be able to wear all required P.P.E. and follow all G.M.P. Guidelines
  • Be proficient in the proper and safe operation of a Forklift truck
  • Must be able to make analysis and decisions involving judgment
  • Lifting requirements are 1-10lbs constantly, 10-20lbs frequently, and 20-50lbs occasionally



Hourly Rate: $32.99
