POSITION SUMMARY The Manager, Identity and Access Management (Manager, IAM) will lead a talented group of engineers and analysts responsible for developing and implementing robust identity and access management solutions. This role will oversee IAM projects, collaborate with business and IT stakeholders, and ensure the security and efficiency of our IAM systems, including systems like SailPoint and integrations with enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical IAM expertise, and a strategic mindset for managing access control in a complex healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IAM engineers and analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IAM solutions, including SailPoint, to support provisioning, role management, and access governance.
- Develop and maintain IAM policies, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
- Drive the integration of IAM systems with enterprise applications, ensuring seamless access and security protocols across the organization.
- Collaborate with various business units and IT teams to define access control requirements and manage role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Ensure IAM operations and solutions are aligned with organizational goals, audit requirements, and best practices for security and scalability.
- Manage IAM projects from planning to execution, including resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve IAM capabilities.
- Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on IAM performance, issues, and improvements.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent ex8+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Previous experience implementing and managing IAM solutions in large, complex enterprise environments, preferably in healthcare.
- Experience with RBAC, access certifications, and audit compliance in IAM systems.
- Experience in team leadership and managing cross-functional IAM projects.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong expertise in SailPoint, including customization, development, and integration with third-party applications.
- Strong understanding of IAM-related technologies such as LDAP, Active Directory, OAuth, and SAML.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IAM issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of security best practices, regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA), and governance related to IAM.
