Overview
Summary The Business Consultant Intern will play a key role in client engagements, contributing to the development and delivery of Advisory Services. The intern will assist senior consultants with research, analysis, and client communication, gaining valuable experience in business consulting and the contact center industry. The intern will also contribute to the development of Advisory Services tools, processes, and collateral.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Client Interaction
- Assists in conducting client interviews, documenting key findings, and analyzing data to identify client needs and challenges.
- Develops high-quality deliverables, such as presentations and reports, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and timely submission to meet client expectations.
- Engagement Delivery
- Collaborates with Advisory Services team members to enhance the team's engagement performance, deliverables, and client messaging
- Works well within teams.
- Advisory Services Practices
- Researches, collaborates and shares knowledge with other Advisory Services team members to improve team business acumen and technical capability assuring consultant capability and consistency, with a specific focus on Contact Center, AI, and Analytics.
- Contributes to continuous improvement, development, piloting, and adoption of consulting methodology, services, and toolsets.
- Contributes to identifying potential new value-added services repeatable in the marketplace.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Foundational IT Knowledge: Possess a basic understanding of core IT concepts (hardware, software, networking, cloud computing) and common business technologies.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information, contributing to problem-solving in a team environment.
- Adaptability & Teamwork: Comfortable working with ambiguity, managing multiple tasks, and collaborating effectively within a team.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in contact centers.
- Strong interest in business consulting and technology.
- Familiarity with AI and data analysis tools and techniques.
