Work Schedule: M-F (25-30 hours/week)

Summary:

The Inventory Control Internship will be responsible for assisting the warehouse and stockroom team at the Phoenix Harbour production site in meeting both departmental and corporate objectives. These few individuals will have the opportunity to become an instrumental part of the daily supply base activities, including reporting, analytics, ERP/ WMS, and inventory management. This position is onsite at Phoenix fab location and is set for a duration of 3 to 6 months based on when the project completion starting in March 2025.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

* Access and navigate Baan, ERP and other business applications
* Assist with development or review process and procedure documents for critical supply chain functions
* Develop charts and dashboards for assign projects
* Support escalation/shortage resolution for assign projects
* Perform data collection, spreadsheet creation, and data analysis.
* Develop and present material to executive audiences to drive decision making and awareness.
* Fill and account for material requisitions submitted from Operations
* Receive and place parts/components into stock from Receiving/Inspection
* Assist in tracking and filling backorders as parts/components become available
* Ensure the correct balances are maintained by the performance of Cycle Counts
* Include Parts Prep area and inventory done in Value Add
* Monitor appropriate reports to ensure Priority material is delivered to the correct location in a timely manner
* Restock shelves with incoming material from various sources and locate the material in the computerized system
* Ensure the correct balances are maintained by the performance of Cycle Counts and complete a thorough investigation of any discrepancies found while Cycle Counting
* Complete Reconciliation of returned kits from the production floor, including fully researching and documenting all discrepancies found
* Research and identify Material related issues using all available inquiries within the computerized system

Qualifications:

* Student pursuing major in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
* Solid analytical skills and self-motivated.
* Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
* Able to perform in a team environment.
* Active involvement with a variety of extracurricular activities
* Handle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion
of tasks.
* US Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card holder required for access to ITAR restricted information and facilities.
* Local candidate to Phoenix metro area as onsite work will be required

Education: Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing major in Supply Chain Management or related field; Junior or Senior preferred.
