HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $25.00-$28.00 (based on experience/certifications)

Sacramento Marriott Rancho Cordova is seeking a Mechanic Engineer (Maintenance) to join our great team and enjoy all the benefits of our exciting hotel environment. The Mechanic/Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience by completing various facilities maintenance functions within the hotel and ensuring proper maintenance and compliance with safety regulations. Areas of responsibility will include refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning & general hotel building maintenance. Responding to requests from Marriott GXP and direction by management. This is a full-time position that will work AM and/or PM shifts including weekends (open availability needed).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:



  • Must have High School diploma and required mechanical certifications or secondary education equivalent.
  • Two years maintenance or engineering experience in a multi-unit environment such as hotels with 200 or more guestrooms, or other multi-unit facility such as apartments or medical care facilities.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate verbal and written English with Guests, management and co-workers.
  • Must have advanced working knowledge of commercial buildings and systems to include HVAC and related BAS/CMMS systems, industrial kitchen equipment, Life Safety Systems and Emergency Generators
