Job Summary and Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable, adaptable, and robust software solutions in collaboration with product teams, ensuring faster and more efficient delivery.
  • Collaborate with Development and Business Analysis teams to understand system design and functionality, perform design studies, and assess system changes.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives, ensuring progress tracking and timely course correction.
  • Ensure compliance with code quality, application security, accessibility, and 508 standards.
  • Develop and enforce coding templates, best practices, and unit testing with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve the development process.
  • Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of new developers on company development tools and processes.
  • Effectively communicate technical impact, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to leadership and team leads.
  • Assist in Proof of Concepts (POC) and new technology initiatives to evaluate feasibility and impact.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of JSON payloads and failover mechanisms for handling data resilience.
  • 10 + years of software development experience with expertise in enterprise-level applications.
  • Expertise in object-oriented design, concurrency, and exception handling.
  • Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) with experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, including Low-Level Design Documents (LLD).
  • Skilled in Java, Spring, jQuery, and web application servers (Apache, WildFly [JBoss], WebSphere).
  • Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and engineering REST and SOAP web services.
  • Hands-on experience with integrating Apache Kafka and MuleSoft for processing and managing real-time streaming data.
  • Exposure to ServiceNow integration and usage, ensuring seamless workflow automation and IT service management.
  • Experience with Angular and Node.js development.
  • Strong expertise in PL/SQL and database analysis.
  • Experience working with multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows).
  • Hands-on experience with source code management tools (SVN, GIT).
  • Proficiency in build tools (Git, GitHub), SonarQube, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Experience working with JIRA and similar bug-tracking tools.
  • Ability to monitor system performance and uptime, responding quickly to production issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Preferred to have Splunk integration knowledge for error reporting and log management.
  • Highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in the healthcare domain is a plus.
  • Experience integrating COTS solutions with large-scale web applications and relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience with single sign-on (SSO) integration and identity and access management (IAM), OKTA Integration solutions.
  • Strong security awareness with expertise in identifying and resolving vulnerabilities using security tools
