  • Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital includes state-of-the-art rehabilitation services for patients recovering from health care conditions. It is the only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Liaison is responsible for generating admissions to meet assigned census goals. In addition, they must have a working knowledge of healthcare operations, legal guidelines, and payer sources.


Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in managed care setting
  • Maintain a Clinical Licensure
  • Two (2) years of previous job-related experience
  • Knowledge of the Centers for Medicare Services (CMS) requirements/guidelines for admissions
  • Valid NM Driver's license and proof of liability insurance

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Knowledge of HMO's, PPO's, Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance plans preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology.
