The Role: As a Senior Sales Engineer, you'll work with our sales team in pre-sales situations to solve difficult problems within the US Public Sector. You'll lead complex pilots and assist with deployment of our solutions to ensure success. You should have a combination of engineering skills and a problem-solving mindset. A strong candidate will have some information security experience or a strong interest to learn.

What you'll do as a Sales Engineer:



  • Partner with the Sales Team to articulate the value prop, vision and strategy to prospective customers
  • Meet with prospective customers, understand requirements, field technical questions, and demonstrate capabilities
  • Maintain accurate notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer input both wins and losses
  • Plan and manage product Proof of Value efforts
  • Develop sample use-cases and demos
  • Address critical analytical, technical, and operational issues
  • Proactively engage and communicate with customers and Recorded Future teams regarding product feedback and competitive landscape


What you'll bring as a Sales Engineer:



  • Demonstrated success working in a pre-sales role
  • At least 5 years experience working with/for SLED, Federal Civilian, or DOD/IC Clients in a customer facing capacity
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with technical and non-technical personnel from deep geeks to top execs
  • Cyber security or threat intelligence experience is a plus
  • A strong written and oral communication. This role requires the ability to understand and articulate the value of Recorded Future in both presentations and writing (RFI/RFPs)
  • Willingness to travel at least 35%
