Description
The Department of Medicine is hiring a motivated Staff Research Associate to join our research team. We are looking for a dedicated and energetic individual to contribute to our efforts in understanding the mechanisms behind autoimmune responses to cancer immunotherapies and their impact on treatment efficacy. In this role, you will leverage a blend of basic science and clinical translational research skills. Responsibilities include performing immunology and molecular biology techniques such as DNA, RNA, and protein isolation, flow cytometry, qRT-PCR and standard PCR, and immunohistochemistry. The position also involves conducting in vivo mouse immune therapy experiments, including maintaining a genetically engineered mouse colony, performing murine tissue dissection, tumor inoculation, and assessing tumors and autoimmune phenotypes in mice. Additional duties include assisting with laboratory organization and maintenance. Hourly range: $28.88-$46.46 Qualifications
