Job Description:

As an IT Support Analyst Intern, you will provide essential technical support and assistance to users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues. This role involves diagnosing and resolving technical problems, configuring and maintaining IT systems, and ensuring data security. Additionally, you will educate users on best practices and new technologies, document procedures, and collaborate with other IT professionals to enhance system performance and reliability. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic IT environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Providing User Support: Assisting users with technical issues, both hardware and software.
2. Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving technical problems, including network issues.
3. System Maintenance: Installing, configuring, and updating software and hardware.
4. Security Management: Ensuring system and data security through antivirus and encryption.
5. Performance Monitoring: Keeping an eye on system performance and addressing any issues.
6. Backup and Recovery: Managing system backups and recovery plans.
7. Documentation: Documenting procedures, operations, and issues for future reference.
8. Testing New Technology: Evaluating new technology for potential implementation.
9. Communication: Explaining technical details to non-technical staff or clients.
10. Other duties as required and assigned

Applicants should be/possess:

• Junior or Senior studying Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Data Analytics
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Good communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical users
• Resume and Cover Letter
• Recommended: Letter of Recommendation from a professor in the IT department where the student is enrolled.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Available for a 10 to 12 week internship between May and September of 2025. We are unable to accommodate internships outside of this time frame.
• This Internship is in person (Spokane) Therefore, candidates must relocate to team location in Spokane, Washington.

Experienced Required:

• Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems
• Knowledge of basic troubleshooting techniques and tools
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices

The hourly U.S. pay range for this position is: $18.00-$32.00
