What The Role Is At Cadence Bank, the Private Bank is a division of the Corporate Bank. A Private Banker functions as a single point of contact for all aspects of a client's financial needs. The Private Bank targets wealthy individuals, family offices, entrepreneurs, highly compensated executives, professional service firms and non-profit organizations. How You Will Make an Impact * Responsible for managing, retaining and expanding existing relationships within your own portfolio and alongside senior Relationship Managers. * Responsible for developing and implementing strategies for generating new client relationships. * Apply knowledge of credit and banking to structure credit facilities that are mutually beneficial to our clients and the bank. * Identify, recommend, and promote solutions that best serve our HNW client needs while ensuring the profitability of the portfolio. * Analyze problems and propose creative solutions. * Regularly call on clients, prospects, centers of influence and utilize knowledge of our product partners to find additional solutions such as Wealth and Investments. * Represent the financial institution in public relations activities and community affairs. Who You Are * Excellent relationship and communication skills. * Self-directed and sales oriented. * Highly organized and possesses the ability to manage and prioritize workflow. Education * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, related field, or equivalent work experience. * Formal credit training. Experience * A minimum of 5+ years experience in a financial institution as a commercial or private banking lender. * Experience in business development, including marketing and acquisition of new clients. * Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to banking.
