Are you a passionate Python Developer looking to work on cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, Agile environment? We are seeking a mid-to-senior level Python Developer to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of high-impact applications. In this role, you'll work with modern cloud technologies, microservices, and containerized applications to build scalable solutions that align with our architectural and operational goals. If you have a strong background in Python development, API integration, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and CI/CD pipelines, we'd love to hear from you! This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Chantilly, VA, offering the chance to collaborate with top engineers and contribute to mission-critical projects. Responsibilities: Utilize the Scrum methodology to plan and execute tasks aligned with the project's Program Increment strategy. Develop software using Python and shell scripting to interact with APIs, databases, and external services. Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure within AWS C2S using services such as Managed OpenSearch, EMR, EC2, and AWS Lambda. Implement microservices and container orchestration using Kubernetes for efficient application deployment. Collaborate with ISSM and networking teams to ensure secure and efficient data routing and access. Write and deploy Python/Java code using Jenkins and GitHub, incorporating unit testing, code reviews, and best practices for quality assurance. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Python development experience in software/application development. Full-time on-site position in Chantilly, VA with core hours from 9 AM - 3 PM. Hands-on experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and Linux OS. Proficiency with AWS Cloud Infrastructure. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and GitHub. Experience building and running containerized applications using Docker and Helm.
