Job Summary

As a Program Director, you will play a pivotal leadership role in overseeing and driving the success of moderately complex healthcare programs. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution, delivering high-quality services on schedule and within budget, and maintaining alignment with both client expectations and organizational objectives. This role requires strategic oversight, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement to optimize program outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage healthcare programs, ensuring the successful execution of services, projects, and deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and analyze program performance metrics, quality outcomes, deliverables, and budgets to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Identify and address operational challenges, applying strategic problem-solving skills to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for all program-related communications.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams-including clinical, technical, and administrative personnel-to ensure seamless program execution and coordination.
  • Develop and implement standardized methods and procedures to enhance program efficiency, optimize workflows, and improve outcomes.
  • Proactively manage program risk by identifying potential issues, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring operational readiness for both program launch and daily execution.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive status reports and updates for internal leadership and external client stakeholders.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives to align program activities with organizational goals and drive continuous growth and innovation.
  • Provide leadership, operational oversight, and guidance to team members, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to identify and support new business opportunities as needed.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in program or project management with a proven track record of leadership and strategic execution.
  • Expertise in Medicaid, Medicare, or healthcare verticals required, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and policies.
  • Familiarity with clinical or healthcare operations, including workflows, compliance, and service delivery.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify program challenges and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage program budgets and meet critical deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) with the ability to quickly adapt to proprietary software applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, depending on program requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of best practices in healthcare operations, including process improvement and workflow optimization.
  • Understanding of government policies, structures, and regulatory compliance requirements within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience with performance metrics, productivity measures, and reporting to drive operational success.
  • Expertise in contract development and implementation, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong budget and financial management skills to oversee program funding and resource allocation.
  • Proven leadership abilities to manage direct reports and ensure program objectives and contract deliverables are met.
  • Strategic planning aptitude, with the ability to prioritize tasks and align program initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and active listening) to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to provide supervision and coaching to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and program performance.
  • Ongoing monitoring and oversight to meet contract deliverables and ensure operational excellence.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting, ensuring alignment with quality care and cost-effectiveness goals.
  • Ability to provide consultation on system and policy issues, offering strategic insights and recommendations.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 annual base salary

Based on our compensation program, an applicant's position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
