DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will act as the County Reimbursable Accident Reports (RAR) Coordinator, responsible for evaluating damage to state property and identifying necessary repairs. You will input pertinent information into the Plant Maintenance system to streamline the invoice processing from the Central Office to the appropriate parties. Furthermore, you will take on the role of County Tort Coordinator, overseeing accident claims by collecting information and supplying local data for claims assessment. As the County Accident Investigation Coordinator, you will analyze serious accident reports from law enforcement or media sources, perform field evaluations, capture photographs, and gather relevant data. You will collaborate with the police department and the District Tort Coordinator to compile and electronically submit reports. Additionally, you will visit active contractor sites to ensure adherence to contract standards, conduct routine quality assurance inspections, review program schedules, notify vendors for necessary services, and verify the accuracy of contractor invoices prior to processing them in the Plant Maintenance system. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Position may require change in work hours including overtime during winter events.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Roadway Programs Technician 1; or
- One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment, and an Associate's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or closely related program; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
