Description

The Director of Learning Strategy, Design and Technology focuses on designing and implementing impactful learning programs that align with business goals, drive leadership excellence, and foster a high-performing culture. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in learning technologies, leadership development, and strategies, with a proven track record of leading successful, large-scale projects. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Talent Management.

This role has the potential to work virtually and can be field near any BC office, preference of Denver, CO.

Detailed Description:



  • Develop and Execute Learning Strategies: Develop and execute comprehensive learning and leadership development strategies to address current and future organizational needs.
  • Innovation in Learning Design: Drive the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-powered solutions, to create personalized and scalable learning experiences.
  • Promote High-Performing Culture: Implement learning strategies to promote a high-performing workplace culture and foster a culture of continuous learning within the organization.
  • Talent Development Programs: Partner with executive leadership to design and implement high-potential and executive talent programs, facilitating career progression for emerging leaders.
  • Corporate University Development: Lead the development, implementation, and continual improvement of courses within the corporate university framework to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the organization and its employees.
  • Learning Technology Management: Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of advanced learning platforms and technologies to enhance accessibility and effectiveness across the employee lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of learning professionals to ensure excellence in delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align learning initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Resource Management: Oversee budgets and vendor contracts to ensure efficient resource allocation and ROI on learning investments. Monitor and report on learning outcomes and metrics.


Desired Skills and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in learning and development, or a related field, with at least 5 years in senior leadership role required.
  • Proven track record of successful leadership in instructional design and training required.
  • Expertise in emerging learning and technologies including AI-powered solutions required.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective organizational design solutions.
  • Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate complex concepts.
  • Advanced project management skills, with the ability to manage large-scale training initiatives


Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A: $131,000-$179,000

Location B: $144,000-$197,000

Location C: $157,000-$215,000
