GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:

This position maintains and analyzes pricing and advertising contracts established by the Sales teams of Dole Fresh Vegetables. Additionally, the Pricing Analyst identifies key data sources, synthesizes data, and draws conclusions based on logic and objectivity to provide solutions for the Sales teams, brokers and customers.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

* Validate, implement and maintain customer contract/program and special outside contract pricing in Mainframe and ITN systems
* Ensure pricing and ad procedures are followed by all parties
* Analyze and report on ad entry errors. Collaborate with Brokers, Sales team, and Forecasting to improve accuracy through process improvements and broker/sales education
* Manage all pricing change requests, annual contract changes and customer contract extensions
* Ensure accuracy of pricing data and resolve all pricing errors in a timely manner
* Provide financial analysis regarding customer pricing issues and pricing related deductions
* Implement and maintain FSS pricing
* Manage all surcharge set up and maintenance
* Manage Expiring Contracts pipeline and kickstart renewal process with Sales team
* Establish and maintain new items in MainFrame and iTrade templates
* Manage the setup of new brokers and customers in iTrade
* Coordinate with brokers, buyers and CSRs to clear iTrade reconciles
* Manage, troubleshoot and provide resolutions on integration of contracts between MainFrame and iTrade
* Maintain existing and continually develop COGNOS pricing reports based on changing business or RSM needs
* Provide training and support to brokers and other users of pricing systems.
* Propose and develop change requests for ongoing system improvements that drive efficiency and accuracy.
* Coordinate and partner with IT on system issues and continuous enhancements
* Document and revise procedures as necessary
* Perform other duties as assigned, including ad hoc analysis as needed, requiring independent thought and a practical approach

Required Skills

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

* 5-7 years accounting or finance experience
* Extremely strong PC and mainframe skills, including working knowledge of Cognos, JD Edwards and PowerPoint software.
* Requires extremely strong Excel skills.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, talk or hear to communicate, as well as maneuver around an array of equipment, bend, stoop and climb stairs.
* The employee must occasionally lift (including overhead) and/or up to 15 lbs.

WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to work beyond normal working hours, weekends, rotating shifts required as needed

Required Experience

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred

PAY RATE:



  • $82,000 - $90,000 Annually
