Inside Sales Associate - DMR

Position Summary:

Provides sales administration and support to the Direct Market Reseller customers by providing information about orders, inventory, shipping status, returns, pricing, and technical product details to integrators, resellers and Account Manager to enable order placement through sales process.

What you will do in this role:

Order Processing and Follow Up
  • Process orders in AS 400
  • Confirm margin on order and check for hidden margin
  • Provide order confirmation, using template or other sales approved template)
  • Confirm inventory stock on warehouse and drop ship orders
  • Submit part builds
  • Confirm payment terms and request credit card form if needed
  • Process sideways orders
  • Process cancellation requests
  • Work with the warehouse on order changes
  • Upload purchase orders to F20

Returns and Credit Requests
  • Follow up with credit team on time-sensitive orders
  • Review MN 19 screen and update F8 notes
  • Provide tracking and ETA information to customer
  • Work with logistics on shipping issues
  • Aging and Invoices reconciliation with credit team

Freight Quotes
  • Submit freight quote requests through UPS website or Operations department (may involve domestic or international parcel or freight quote requests)

General Inside Sales Support
  • Responsible for building long-term relationships with DMR Sr. Acct Manager and/or customer (Buyers) to gain confidence and retain position as lead supplier. Respond to requests for basic quotes, questions, open issues that require follow-up, bid registrations and updates and Salesforce quotes. Have basic working knowledge of ProAV business and specific projects to foster sales process
  • Work efficiently and effectively with internal resources to appropriately support our DMR customers and win opportunities.
  • Collaborate with DMR Sr. Account Manager to obtain information and data from the customer and assume responsibility of different aspects of project management to prepare the sales order.

Assume additional tasks and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

What we look for in a candidate:
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • 2-4 years related experience
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite
  • Problem-solving ability and ability to think on your feet-- understand unique situations and circumstances and apply Almo policies to identify and communicate decision
  • Strong verbal communication skills that demonstrates confidence
  • Service orientation and mindset to support sales team and drive long term, trusting relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously/multi-task
  • May require minimal travel annually (two weeks/year) with Outside salesforce, attend E4 or other trade shows and National Sales Meeting.
