Interface Project Manager II - Remote

Myriad is hiring an Interface Success Manager to join our team and support the expansion and refinement of our EMR services across all Myriad products. We are looking for someone with a passion for driving operational improvements, a track record of building strong relationships with partners and customers, deep familiarity with EMR systems and processes, and demonstrated success delivering impeccable support in these systems and timely care for our patients and clinicians.

Myriad's Clinic Interfaces and EMR Team supports the seamless integration of Myriad products and services into our customers' existing in-house digital systems. We support all of Myriad's business units, products, and the medical specialties that use them. We bring precision medicine services to healthcare providers in the tools they use every day.

We have an established EMR program, currently completing hundreds of new clinic interfaces every year. We are looking for an Interface Success Manager to ensure that we maintain the highest quality of experience for our customers using these interfaces, and that we make the most of the efficiencies they offer. As our implementation teams complete new interfaces, the Interface Success Manager will support the onboarding of newly interfaced clinics, monitor and maximize their use and impact, and lead frontline support for any issues that arise to provide an unparalleled integrated experience for our customers.

What You'll Do:



  • Develop a broad understanding of the clinic experience of various EMR platforms, the interface implementation process, and operational processes throughout Myriad's pipeline, to ensure that integrations are utilized optimally and well positioned for business retention and revenue growth.
  • Establish know-how as Myriad systems and process expert for our Interface Project Manager and commercial partners in integration projects with varying workflow complexity and nuance.
  • Contribute to providing a frictionless Myriad EMR integrated experience for newly interfaced clinic accounts, through establishing:

    • a deep understanding of clinic needs and challenges, pre- and post-integration
    • a firm command of internal tools and data for monitoring and improving interface utilization
    • a strong partnership with commercial and internal stakeholders to ensure the clinic properly adheres to newly interfaced workflows
    • an unwavering advocacy of best-in-class experience for our end users

  • Lead frontline support for new and currently interfaced client accounts, EMR system vendors, commercial stakeholders, and internal operational teams, ensuring that all client interactions across the various EMR support channels are holistically addressed.
  • Actively surface and escalate technical and operational issue trends.
  • Derive solutions to reduce interface maintenance support inquiries and drive improvements to internal operational processes, both independently and collaboratively with EMR stakeholders (Interface Project Managers, Product Manager, Engineering teams).
  • Manage projects of varying scale and complexity to support the growing EMR organization's technical and operational initiatives, aligning with Engineering, Product teams to deliver projects in adherence to agile methodology and sprints.
  • Independently manage relationships with stakeholders such as external clients, EMR system vendors, commercial partners, and internal team members to facilitate prompt issue resolution and to minimize disruption to customers.
  • Use independent and collaborative judgment to clear technical and operational hurdles that arise in assigned projects.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase the reach and impact of our EMR services.


Qualifications:



  • 1-3+ years of experience in healthcare, with direct exposure to EMR and/or LIS systems.
  • Proven drive to streamline processes and minimize repetitive work.
  • Demonstrated success delivering impeccable customer support in a complex operational and technical environment.
  • Comfort with balancing several commitments and proactively advancing long-term initiatives, while tackling emergent day-to-day demands.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare space required.

    • Familiarity with genetic testing, precision medicine, and PGx are all a significant plus

  • A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) is required. Degrees in Science or another qualitative discipline are strongly preferred.
  • Experience with these or similar systems not required but highly valued:

    • EMR Software(s)
    • Interface Engine/Middleware: Mirth Connect
    • HL7 Messaging Standards: ORM/ORU, ADT/SIU, CCD, CDA, FHIR
    • CRM, issue tracking, project documentation: Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence
