High school diploma required with some college education preferred. Experience in laboratory, greenhouse, and aseptic technique is preferred.

A Research Technician will assist with projects and tasks in the laboratory, greenhouse, and office to support a plant genomics research laboratory. This new position will be responsible for laboratory and greenhouse work with a diverse set of plant species. The employee will be responsible for preparing culture media, reagents, buffers and other solutions. Employee will be responsible for performing tissue culture and maintaining collections of clonally propagated plants.

Utilize computer technology for all applications in a manner that meets performance expectations. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds, both assisted and unassisted.
