Automation Manufacturing Engineer(On Site)

JOB SUMMARY:This position is responsible for developing, evaluating and recommending new processes and/ or equipment. Position requires a thorough understanding of the metal working industry as it relates to turning, milling and grinding, and related tooling and fixtures. Position requires an individual who can work independently as well as within teams, and possess the ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously. The job activities are typical to a manufacturing company and involve regular interfacing with the manufacturing personnel and manufacturing environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Develop, evaluate, and recommend new processes and/or equipment to support strategic objectives within the Manufacturing Engineering group



  • Lead/support technical initiatives and/or tasks



  • Provide a high level of service and professionalism to our customers



  • Work with end-users to design and develop robotic or automated systems



  • Work directly with customers on testing, development and strategic initiatives



  • Generate and outline project schedule to keep all stakeholders up-to-date





SKILLS REQUIRED:

* Masters of Science Mechanical Engineering (MSME) degree(Preferred), or Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with a minimum 3 years in manufacturing engineering, R&D engineering or Machine design/ Automation systems

* Knowledge in automation & machine design (programming robotics, PLCs and Vision Systems)

* Knowledge in data and statistical analysis

* Rolling element bearing design, manufacturing, failure analysis, and/or testing a plus

* Team player, results driven, strong communication

* PowerPoint/Word/Excel, SolidWorks

* Some travel required, both domestic and abroad.

PAY RANGE: $74,979.00 - $120,000 exempt annual salary

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift 40 lbs

Note: Physical job requirements may include standing, use of hands to assemble and or carry out job functions as well as sitting, lifting, carrying, bending and stooping during the course of the job.
