Summary:

The Manager, Master Data Management (MDM) role will lead the Trident Master Data team and will interact closely with key business stakeholder from Finance, Supply Chain, Operation, Sales, and other teams across Trident Seafoods. Trident Seafoods utilizes SAP S/4 HANA to maintain key master data.

Essential functions (responsibilities, tasks, supervisory needs)

  • Partners with the business and Transformation Management Office (TMO) to understand key business master data requirements and challenges, evaluating options and making recommendations on the technology solutions and implementation approach.

  • Develops the Trident product master data management strategy, in the context of the technology we currently use (SAP S/4 HANA), which includes partnering with various business and IT teams on inputs, workflows for product data, outputs, and governance of product data.

  • Designs dashboards and reporting for key performance indicators

  • Leads data governance initiatives - both enhancements and medium/ large projects

  • Develops the MDM tool technology road map and collaborate with all key stakeholders to ensure alignment.

  • Partners with the SAP functional support team to communicate and clarify business needs, contribute to development of long-term system plans, and ensure products and services are aligned with all businesses.

  • Acts as the business lead for project meetings to design and scope scalable technical solutions that extend the existing functionality of SAP; actively seek ways to apply technology to business processes, researching and providing information on technical trends, advise on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on other business processes.

  • Build strong partnership with various stakeholders: Sr Management, business SMEs, TMO, regulatory/compliance teams, IT teams, end-users and third parties/ vendors, provide optimal workflows and customer service.

  • Manage projects for integrations of product data with various applications, data synchronization networks, web sites and product technical document generation.

  • Identifies current gaps in data health and implement corrective measures to ensure data integrity.

This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $160k to $190k.

Minimum Requirements

Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs)

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in master data management, with at least 5 of those years in an SAP environment.

  • A minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience.

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related field.

  • CPG, food, nutrition, or manufacturing industry experience

  • Experience leading project teams and work streams

  • Solid understanding of information systems and application architecture standards

Preferred education and experience

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes across multiple business areas and develop alternate solutions.

  • Excellent listening and communication skills

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, working effectively at all levels in the organization

  • Capacity to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal

  • Organized with an inclination for planning strategy and tactics

  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others

  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools

  • SAP S/4 HANA experience highly desired

  • MBA or Master's Degree

  • Certification in project management such as PMP

Work Environment

This hybrid position will be a combination of remote and onsite at the Trident Support Center office in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, WA. Our hybrid work environment includes remote work on Monday and Friday and in-office in the Support Center on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

In-office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use a computer for long periods, often sitting at a desk in an office environment.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. During visits to production locations the employee will need normal vision and hearing to safely navigate the production floors and warehouse. The employee moves objects occasionally up to 25 pounds.
