Job Description

NetImpact Strategies, Inc. is seeking to hire an Information Assurance/Security Specialist to support a Federal Agency.

This role is located 100% onsite at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.

Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

    Assist system owners and Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) in developing, maintaining, and updating security documentation, including POA&Ms and security artifacts to support the ATO process.
  • Conduct and support DoD and agency-level security compliance reviews, including ad-hoc, annual, and quarterly security scans and accreditation activities.
  • Evaluate new or modified systems, devices, and configurations to ensure compliance with security policies and maintain a consistent security posture.
  • Maintain security-related documentation, including SSAAs, mitigation strategies, waivers, approvals, and user rights tracking.
  • Support the investigation, documentation, and resolution of security incidents as required.
  • Assist with the implementation and management of CAC login, PKI technology, and other government-mandated two-factor authentication systems.
  • Utilize government-approved security scanning tools (e.g., Retina, AppDetective, ACAS) for security analysis, forensics, and intrusion prevention.
  • Provide risk assessments and security evaluations for current and future system components, including medical devices.
  • Ensure compliance with NIST and DoD IA certification and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement security best practices and maintain compliance with federal security requirements.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Experience: Four (4) years of progressive experience in required proficiency.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalency.
  • Candidate must have an Active Secret Clearance.
  • IAT III certification per DoD 8570.01-M requirements (CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH).
  • IAM III certification per DoD 8570.01-M requirements (CISM, CISSP, GSLC).
  • CE: Associate (professional preferred) level certification.
  • Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Strong understanding of NIST RMF, DoD security frameworks, and ATO processes.
  • Previous Federal Consulting Experience.
