What You'll Do in This Position

Responsible for the direction and supervision of site services facilities personnel and for the safe and efficient operation of the
facility.
This entry level manger will enable Site Services to train and qualify Entry Level Managers.
Manage the operation of the facility to ensure operational compliance with all environmental and safety rules and
regulations. Ensure that all operating activities are performed safely and in accordance with approved operating procedures
and within the requirements of Technical Specifications and/or Operations Safety Requirements. Train (and document
training) site services personnel in proper operation of site services equipment, Conduct of Operations and Safety &
Security Policies and Procedures. Ensure all employees are trained, qualified, and fit for duty. Assist in the coordination,
support of maintenance, and project work being done in site services. Prioritize for meeting the day-to-day needs of
multiple customers and work groups quickly and efficiently.(steam, electric, HVAC and water needs) Approve the start of all
maintenance, operations, construction, test and surveillance that affect the facility or its equipment. Communicate with
other support organizations to ensure operating activities are started and completed as scheduled. Perform initial
investigation of abnormal events including the removal from service of equipment and systems as necessary. Make timely,
informative notifications as required, and take emergency action as necessary to prevent or mitigate the consequences of an
abnormal event and always place the facility in a safe, stable condition following an event. Provide clear, concise instructions
to operators or support personnel and require them to ~repeat-back~ their understanding of the
instructions. Perform periodic tours of the facility to observe activities and ensure they are being performed safely and in
accordance with approved procedures. Identify housekeeping and facility material condition deficiencies to the appropriate
organization(s) for corrective action.

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. This list of factors is not exhaustive; pre-employment information and security clearance requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications We Require

High School Diploma, GED, or other equivalent State Credential.

Other Qualifications

Ability to obtain and maintain a L Clearance.

Qualifications We Desire

Operations experience preferred.
Working knowledge of equipment operation, process systems, safety policies and procedures; as well as knowledge in the mechanical, electrical, and chemical fields.
Comprehensive knowledge of Site Infrastructure systems or Site Services Operations.
An in-depth knowledge of industrial Operating proficiency, principles, Conduct of Ops principles, regulations, and procedure requirements.
Good written and oral communication skills.
