We are seeking a motivated Traffic Engineer to support our traffic engineering projects. In this role, you will assist with all aspects of analysis, design, calculations, estimating, and preparing submissions for a variety of traffic-related projects. Key Responsibilities Conduct traffic impact studies, including trip generation, capacity analysis, and crash/safety analysis Assist in the preparation of Office of State Traffic Administration (OSTA) Major Traffic Generator certificates Support traffic signal design and safety improvement projects Perform AutoCAD and Microstation drafting for engineering plans Utilize GIS and Synchro for data analysis and traffic modeling Prepare reports, cost estimates, and project documentation Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure project success Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) At least 1+ years of relevant experience (internship experience considered) Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, GIS, and Synchro Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to travel to field sites in Connecticut and neighboring states Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Why You'll Love Working with Us Schedule Flexibility: Customize your work schedule to fit your life.
