Role Summary:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Technical Specialist is a key member of the Forberg Smith sales team. In the Technical Specialist position, the individual is responsible for outside customer sales and sales satisfaction through direct contact, phone, or other electronic communications. Sales functions include territory management, customer interaction activities, prospecting for new customers, contract/pricing negotiations, product presentation, inventory management, uncovering needs and closing sales. Individual will be placed in an established account base and will be encouraged to achieve sales and margin objectives. Individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships through strategic accounts, key industries (chemical and power), and key products within Michigan and Northern Ohio.
