Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job The Center for Genetic Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor in the area of human genetics and genomics. Tenure status will be determined based on qualifications. Responsibilities include conducting a research program in human genomic variation as it relates to disease and therapeutic outcomes. Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D. or M.D. or dual degree and expertise in genetics underlying human phenotypes and/or novel analytic approaches to generating and evaluating genomic data sets, including statistical geneticists. We are seeking collaborative individuals who draw from the rich resources of the clinical programs at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Lurie Children's Hospital as well as our affiliates. The Center for Genetic Medicine houses the NUgene Biobank and NUSeq Core Facility. The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.
