Business Operations Analyst Location: Pentagon, Washington, DC - T6 Location Type: On-site Clearance: Active DOD Secret Clearance Required Salary Range: $70k - $80k Seeking an experienced Business Operations Specialist who can assist the Executive Secretary/Administrative Assistant in providing executive, senior level support for the PRA Director, Deputy Director, and their direct reports as required at the Pentagon. Specifically, Business Operations Specialist must coordinate and effectively communicate with Executive Secretary/Administrative Assistant in order to provide support across all CIO Directorates, ARSTAFF, Joint Staff, and OSD with all levels of staff to include General Officers, and Senior Executive Service members. Required Qualifications:
- An active DOD Secret Clearance is required.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience managing complex IT projects / operations / systems /applications of a nature similar in size and scope as referenced under this TO.
- Experience and knowledge of HQDA staff functions, ability to analyze data, prepare reports, possess initiative and have the ability to accomplish tasks in an innovative approach, ability to maintain efficiency in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, and ensure an effective information workflow (to include preparation of correspondence, briefing charts, and process continuity).
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of strategic planning and be capable of applying that knowledge in the CIO environment to address tasks and high impact assignments.
- Proficient in coordinating tasks, meetings and correspondence across Army, Joint, and Secretary of Defense Staffs as well as outside agencies.
- Detailed experience working with General Officers (GOs) and Senior Executive Service (SESs) in DoD/HQDA or equivalent.
- Experience in the HQDA's Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G-6, G-3/5/7 or G-8 or equivalent offices.
- High degree of expertise and experience with Administrative and analytical support for the Army, understanding of how to identify, clarify, classify, and build requirements and report to high level organizations.
Desired Qualifications:
- B.S. in Political Science, Finance, Economics, or have an Operational Research background
- 2 years' experience in leading multiple complex tasks and high impact assignments and acquired knowledge, skills, and abilities to determine innovative solutions to complex requirements.
- Proficient in producing and submitting reports in various Microsoft products.
- Proficient in Coordinating and updating Official Taskers for timely responses and staff coordination.
- Proficient in Coordinating and submitting written documentation and analysis data for official Army Guidance.
- Proficient in producing reporting metrics for internal and external training.
- Proficient in producing and accounting for changes in storage and documentation systems. I.E. Cloud Storage and Internal Software folders.
- Proficient in reviewing correspondence to ensure documents are clear, complete, and fully coordinated prior to Director's review.
- Proficient in establishing and continually reviews, updates and develops complex administrative office procedures that affect the orderly work within the divisions.
- Proficient in evaluating administrative issues to recommend actions or develop policy to improve administrative operations.
- Proficient in maintaining the daily office calendar; scheduling meetings, ensuring attendance and tasks assigned are completed.
- Proficient in reviewing HQDA correspondence to ensure it is in accordance with regulations and policies.
- Proficient in evaluating all special projects and action papers to ensure adherence to items such as: proper procedural requirements, coordination needs, and regulatory guidance.
- Proficient in utilizing computer database management systems and Microsoft Office Suite to prepare extracts, track expenses, and prepare reports on specific actions.
- Proficient in SharePoint Online.
- Proficient in Enterprise Task Management System 2.0 (ETMS2).
