The incumbent receives, stores, and issues materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.

Pay Rate: $33.47/hourly

Work Model: Onsite

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

• Verifies materials or merchandise against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
• Routes materials to prescribed storage locations.
• Stores, stacks, or palletizes materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
• Examines stored materials and reports deterioration and damage.
• Removes material from storage and prepares it for shipment.
• May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
• Performs other related work as assigned.

Mandatory:

• High school graduate or equivalent GED.
• At least two (2) years of experience in the field of logistics, supply and/or warehouse experience performing similar work tasks.
• At least two (2) years of experience operating all types of material handling equipment.
• Ability to obtain prior to commencing work and maintain the required intelligence community level clearance.
• Familiarity with record filling and property inventory.
• Demonstrate competence with any of the following, i.e. pallet jacks, forklifts to 25K# capacity, Reach Trucks, Stackers, Pickers, tank skates, come long machines, stair climbers, and Roller Lifts.
• Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
• Mature judgment and ability to perform assigned work tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to pass a pre-hire background and drug screen.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or team lift of 75 pounds.
