The Green Bay Broadway Mill is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer/Asset Manager for the Logistics/Shipping operation area. The Manufacturing Engineer will have broad responsibility for safety, environmental compliance, reliability, cost, productivity, and managing within an ownership-based work system of technicians. The types of equipment this role is responsible for includes automated case palletizers, conveying systems, Automatic Guided Vehicles and material handling elevators.

What You Will Do
* Lead the organization toward excellence in Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance by identifying and resolving critical and high-risk conditions.
* Improve reliability of material handling assets by leading the development, implementation, execution and check/adjust of asset strategies (time/condition based, operating envelope and spare parts) and resolve high impact operating issues.
* Provide technical expertise and transfer knowledge to other members of the operating team via daily interaction and formal/informal skill building.
* Provide strategic and tactical leadership in the areas of cost optimization, quality, productivity, waste, capital planning and execution with the operating team and department
* Facilitate ownership-based work system strategies by building the capability of technicians to operate, maintain, and improve their assets and holding each other to world-class facility standards.
* Working with suppliers and customers to provide products that meet the required specifications
* Collaborate with subject matter experts within and outside the Green Bay Broadway mill to optimize the process relative to throughput, quality, and cost.
* Understand and communicate the current capability of assets and coordinate new opportunities with the Business, Operations, and Supply Chain organizations

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or related field and one year of manufacturing experience OR in lieu of a degree, three (3) or more years of manufacturing or maintenance experience in pulp/paper industry
* Experience identifying and addressing losses (assets, people, or waste) within a process
* Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment

What Will Put You Ahead
* Experience working in Shipping/Automation side of manufacturing
* Equipment and/or manufacturing systems reliability experience
* Experience executing Lean or Continuous Improvement projects
* Previous leadership experience supervising or motivating people or teams
